Senior/Veteran Tax Work-Off Program

The City of West Springfield is accepting applications for forty (40) positions in the 2026 Senior/Veteran Tax Work-Off Program. Senior/Veteran Tax Work Off participants who perform work from March 2, 2026 through October 30, 2026 will receive a payment applied to the fiscal year 2027 property taxes (taxes billed on or after January 1, 2027).

Regroup: New Resident Notification System

West Springfield, MA — Mayor William C. Reichelt announced today that the Town of West Springfield will transition from its current Nixle/Everbridge alert system to a new resident notification platform known as Regroup Mass Notification.
