West Springfield, MA:  The Town of West Springfield continues to offer homeowners a competitive and manageable tax burden, according to the latest fiscal year data released by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue’s Division of Local Services. With an average single-family tax bill of $4,869, West Springfield is well below the statewide average of $7,732.

Locally, West Springfield remains competitive, offering a lower average single family tax bill than other cities such as Agawam, Holyoke, and Westfield and towns such as East Longmeadow, Longmeadow, Southwick and Wilbraham. The Town’s financial stability and commitment to responsible budgeting help ensure continued economic growth and a high quality of life for all residents.

Additionally, the Town’s average single-family home value of $327,419 is a reflection of the community’s strong housing market while remaining more affordable than the county average of $348,360.

“Our priority is to provide residents with excellent municipal services, including education, public safety, and infrastructure improvements, while ensuring that tax rates remain fair and manageable,” said Mayor Will Reichelt. “We continue to strive to make improvements to the community while maintaining a reasonable tax rate for our residents.”
